Cycling New Zealand, in partnership with BMX New Zealand and Rotorua BMX Club are excited and proud to be hosting the first two rounds of the 2024 UCI BMX Racing World Cup.
To be hosted at the outstanding international Te Papa o Te Kauri BMX facility at Whakawerawera on 10-11 February 2024.
Around 300 of the worlds best BMX riders are expected to head to NZ to race for International glory and Olympic Qualification points.

This is the first time a UCI World Cup level event has been held in NZ and is a realisation of the legacy from the UCI World Championships that were held in Auckland in 2013 and a realisation of the vision of the Rotorua BMX Club when they built the track in 2019.

We acknowledge and are grateful for the support of Major Events NZ, Rotorua Lakes Council, Rotorua Trust and the Thermal Explorer Fund.

Get behind our NZ riders as they take on the worlds’ best!
